Successful coaching relationships are founded on mutual trust and respect. As a coach our Clients’ interests come first and we will support them to achieve their stated outcomes. Clients will be free to be themselves without fear of judgement or criticism, to set realistic goals and to embark on a plan of realistic and appropriate action. To this end we commit our experience, energy and focus, and expect our Clients to do likewise.
Successful coaching relationships also require a safe and professional space within which these goals can be achieved. As a coach we will create such an environment, strive for excellence in coaching, and always work within the bounds of coaching - not over-stepping into counselling or other forms of therapy.
This safe and professional space includes maintaining our Clients’ confidentiality unless consent to release specified information is given, or unless required by important circumstance, for example: illegal activity, law enforcement or likely risk of danger to self or others.
To assist the above we enter into a formal coaching agreement with our Clients and explain the nature and potential value of coaching, the nature and limits of confidentiality and the financial arrangements.
